Badam and walnut waala Doodh 😋☕



Below ingredients make 1 cup of almond walnut milk.

WHAT TO USE:
  1. 15 almonds
  2. 2 tablespoons of walnuts
  3. a pinch of Saffron strands
  4. 1 tablespoon Sugar in the Raw
  5. 1/4 teaspoons of ground Cardamom
  6. 1.25 cups whole milk

HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Soak 15 almonds with skin in warm water until they have softened and you are able to remove the skin(somewhat, about 40 minutes) and the walnuts.
  2. Drain and rinse almonds and add to a blender with 4 Tablespoons of whole milk, 1 tablespoon of sugar,  ¼ teaspoon of ground cardamom, and a couple saffron threads. Blend until smooth.
  3. Warm 1 cup whole milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat. 
  4. Take 1 tablespoon of warm milk and add pinch of saffron and set aside. 
  5. Add the blended almond/walnut mixture to the saucepan with the warm milk and bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to low, and simmer for about 15 minutes and almost comes to a boil, stirring frequently to prevent the milk from burning. 
  6. Serve warm and garnish with a few strands of saffron, slivered pistachios and dried rose petals.
