Periods
1. Whenever period starts, eat a banana with little heeng(heeng fried in ghee and can be put inside the banana)2. Eat sesame and jaggery. One may roast sesame and make laddoos). Calcium and iron works best together.
3. Eat light and nutritious food. Greens leafy vegetables are definitely great source of iron. Pomegranate, beets, root vegetables are recommended as well.
4. Rest as much as you can first 2-3 days.
5. Short walks are good.
6. Meditation is excellent.
7. For cramps: warm coconut oil with little camphor and apply and massage around naval clockwise upto 50 times. Warm compresses help too.
