Dahi Wala Paneer

Preparation time 15 mins  Cooking time 20 mins  Serves 4

WHAT TO USE:

For Marination

  1. 500 gms Paneer
  2. 1 tbsp oil
  3. Salt to taste 1 tsp
  4. Bedgi chilli powder 1 tsp
  5. Kasuri Methi 2 tbsp
  6. Oil to lightly sear

For Gravy

  1. 1 tsp Chopped ginger
  2. 3 medium dry red chilli
  3. 1 black cardamom seeds
  4. 500 gms yogurt
  5. ½ tsp Degi chilli powder
  6. ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  7. 1 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 tbsp boiled cashew paste.
  9. Chilly oil for garnish
  10. Mint powder
  11. Fresh mint.

HOW TO MAKE:

1. Mix all the ingredients for the marination together and add paneer.

2. Sear the paneer lightly and keep it aside

3. In the same oil used for searing, add the ginger, sweat, add spices, and sauté for a minute

4. Add the yogurt mixed with spice powders and cashew paste to this and simmer for 15 minutes

5. Add paneer to the gravy

Serve hot.
