Poore -whatever you call they are delicious

 



FOR HOW MANY: 6 people

WHAT TO USE:

  1. 1 cup whole wheat atta
  2. 3/4 sugar- Sugar in the raw
  3. 2 TBSP Coconut - desiccated
  4. 1 TBSP Saunf
  5. 4 TBSP Flax seeds ground
  6. 1 TBSP Sooji
  7. 1tsp Cardamom seeds powder
  8. Pinch soda 

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Mix flour, Sooji, baking powder, sugar, fennel seeds, flax seeds, cardamom seeds powder and water in the bowl to make a smooth, lump free batter.
  2. Add little water to make a pakora-like batter- runny batter
  3. Cover the bowl and let the batter rest for 1-2 hours. ( Gluten of the Atta needs time to process)
  4. Heat ghee in a pan.
  5. Wet your fingers with water and drop a small portion in the medium-hot ghee.
  6. Fry on medium-low heat till golden brown from all the sides.
  7. Keep stirring while frying.
