FOR HOW MANY: 6 people
WHAT TO USE:
- 1 cup whole
wheat atta
- 3/4 sugar- Sugar
in the raw
- 2 TBSP Coconut - desiccated
- 1 TBSP Saunf
- 4 TBSP Flax
seeds ground
- 1 TBSP Sooji
- 1tsp Cardamom seeds powder
- Pinch
soda
HOW TO MAKE:
- Mix flour, Sooji,
baking powder, sugar, fennel seeds, flax seeds, cardamom seeds powder and water in the bowl to make a
smooth, lump free batter.
- Add little
water to make a pakora-like batter- runny batter
- Cover the bowl
and let the batter rest for 1-2 hours. ( Gluten of the Atta needs time to process)
- Heat ghee in a
pan.
- Wet your
fingers with water and drop a small portion in the medium-hot ghee.
- Fry on
medium-low heat till golden brown from all the sides.
- Keep stirring
while frying.
The key for the crispy Poore is frying in Ghee
