I know sugar is something we should not be
eating much but in moderation which means occasionally in Cakes it is fine😋😋😋😋(Ask
my dad)
WHAT DO I USE TO MAKE IT?
·
1½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
·
¼ Tbsp. Flax seed meal
·
½ Cup Unsweetened Dark Coco Powder
·
1½ Tsp Baking Powder
·
½ Tsp Baking Soda
·
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
·
1½ Cup Yogurt
·
½ Cup Broken Walnuts.
·
½ Cup Oil- I prefer Avocado oil
·
1½ Cup Dark Chocolate
·
¾th Cup Powdered Sugar
HOW DO I MAKE IT?
1.
Sieve together all the dry ingredients i.e. flour, baking powder, baking
soda, dark coco powder and keep aside.
2.
In a large bowl, add yogurt and sugar and mix until combined. Now add
the oil and mix together.
3.
Add in the melted dark chocolate and mix.
4.
Finally add in the dry ingredients in batches. If the batter seems too
dry, then add some milk, making sure the batter of the cake is still thick.
5. Pour it in 8” cake pan, (I like the ones
with removable base) and top it with almonds. Add broken walnuts in the batter
– it makes the cake taste better. Bake in a pre-heated oven for about 40 mins
at 350 degrees.
(Don't forget to sprinkle some walnut on
the top of the cake too before putting it in the oven)
6.
Once it is cooled down it is all yours!
